A Special Love for the Environment

"SolarE Project – Bringing Green Energy to Every Home”

Driven by a passion for promoting renewable energy in the community, I took on the role of President of the SolarE Project: Lighten Your World, leading a team of over 20 members to bring the project’s vision to life.

We created an E-book, Nature’s Power, highlighting the benefits of renewable resources and introducing 10 innovative technologies using green energy. During our outreach trips, we also distributed physical copies to high schools in Hanoi, Ha Long, and Hoa Binh.

However, raising awareness wasn’t enough. We undertook multiple trips to remote villages to provide green energy solutions to underserved communities. Specifically, we installed 10 solar-powered lights to 10 households in Ham Village in Thanh Hoa, and Sung Village in Hoa Binh.

The trips left a lasting impression on me. I had the opportunity to organize classes and teach the local children about environmental protection and green energy while helping the community no longer have to navigate dangerous dark roads or rely on flashlights and firelight at night.

A Strong Commitment to Community Service

Through family trips, I realized that many mountainous areas in my hometown still face significant poverty. My trip to Tien Yen, a struggling district in northern Quang Ninh Province, left a lasting impression on me due to the severe hardships faced by the local people.

My family and I organized a charity trip before the 2022 Lunar New Year, aiming to share some warmth with the locals. With help from local authorities, we distributed gifts to 75 disadvantaged families including rice, fresh food, and sweets. I also persuaded philanthropists to commit to donating 50 million VND annually during the Lunar New Year to support the local residents.
